Our first Chaugie's.

As the semester dwindles down, and the opportunities to spend our unused points lessen, we decided it was about time for a date with Chuck and Augie. For all the non Storrers here, Chaugies is the restaurant on campus, and it is BALLERRRRRRR. Here's the lowdown:

Get Agains: (Fricken Everything)

Chicken Slider Trio, It's like the best of 2 worlds, a fusion of all things awesome. The adorable quality of sliders, with the finger lickin' delectableness of the 3 best kinds of chicken sandwich. Honestly, we couldn't ask for more from a meal. Here's the ranking of the 3:

1. Barbecue Chicken with Cajun Asian Slaw, Perfection. It's only fault was that it was small, but it can't help if it slides. The sweet tangy sauce on the crispy chicken, with the ryhmeing dynamic duo of flavor of the crispy slaw made for a dynamite bite. It made me feel like singing.

2. Pepper-Jack Ranch, An all around solid chicken sandwich. The chicken was crispier in this one which was appreciated, and honestly, I've yet to find something with pepperjack on it that I don't approve of. It paired nicely with the caesar salad we ate too. (More to come on that front later)

3. Buffalo Chicken with BlueCheese and Tomato, It was fine, Salamander wasn't to hot on the twang of the sauce, but for what it was it was worthy.

Caesar Salad with Crutons and Aciago Cheese, Now, anyone who has eaten my mother's caesar salad can attest to how heavenly it is(Hi Mom!), so I have very high standards. Chaugies version satisfied my needs. The right amount of creamy dressing, an abundance of cheese, and plenty of croutons were the reason why we ate the whole thing(It was pretty large mind you). I'll probs get it again next time.

Pesto-Alfredo Penne, It's like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny had a baby. Everything I love about the pasta world came together to make that dish. I wanted to bathe in it. The broccoli and tomato woven throughout added nice texture and that sauce was so creamy, my arteries might as well just shut the fuck down.

Bravo Chuck and Augie, well played sirs.
We look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Disposable Disturbance of the day: The reason man evolved and invented the coffee mug was so that he would no longer have to scald his hand when he wanted to drink coffee. We have sacrificed this advancement with the paper cup, and double cupping is now a necessity. THAT'S TWICE AS MUCH CUP WASTE! ARHH!HHHH!HHH!!!
